Path of Exile was released on PC eight years ago, but controlled support has oddly been missing since then, which will finally be fixed soon. The solution to this problem will also stimulate the desire of players to buy POE Currency.

In an announcement earlier today, developer Grinding Gear Games confirmed that Path of Exile will introduce “a beta version of controller support” once patch 3.17.3 goes live in the coming days. After the patch, PC players can connect any gamepad and change the input method to “Controller (Beta)” in the game input options. This will help Path of Exile to regain lost players and encourage them to take part in the game with POE Currency.

The feature will remain unavailable in games on the Epic Games Store, presumably until its beta status is removed. This controller support feature will remain in beta until the 3.18 expansion pack is released, during which there may be issues. Grinding Gear Gears points out before asking players to report any bugs they may be facing.

Elsewhere, Path of Exile 2 is still in “full production mode” after being delayed at least a few years. Grinding Gear Games has faced many development challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and is not in favor of a half-baked sequel. Players are now hoping for a Path of Exile2 beta release somewhere as early as 2023, and they’re traditionally stocking up on more POE Currency as well.

Once Path of Exile 2 is released, players will be able to buy POE Currency at POECurrency. This is a professional game service provider and has received the trust of many players.
